PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid cooling type cooling device capable of uniformizing width-directional flow velocity distribution at a parallel flow passage portion where a plurality of flow passages are formed in parallel. SOLUTION: The liquid cooling type cooling device 1 includes a casing 2 having a peripheral wall 5 with a right side wall 6 and a left side wall 7. A cooling liquid entrance 11 is formed at a front end of the left side wall 6 and a cooling liquid exit 12 is formed at a rear end of the right side wall 7. The parallel flow passage portion 16 composed of the plurality of flow passages 15 is provided at a position between both the side walls 6 and 7 and between the cooling liquid entrance 11 and cooling liquid exit 12 in the casing 2. A part upstream from the parallel flow passage portion 16 in the casing 2 is an entrance header part 21, and a part downstream therefrom is an exit header part 22. At the parallel flow passage portion 16, a plurality of flow passage groups 17A and 17B composed of the plurality of flow passages 15 and differing in passage resistance are provided side by side in a width direction of the parallel flow passage portion 16. The passage resistance of the flow passage group 17A on the side of the left side wall 6 is made smaller than that of the flow passage group 17B on the side of the right side wall 7.
