PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive baseboard sheet which prevents the fall of a worker, a tool, etc. by surely closing the opening between a diagonal bar of a brace and a longitudinal plate, and which can be easily attached by virtue of light weight. SOLUTION: A rod-like crossrail-like member is provided in such a manner as to be laid across the diagonal bars, below the X-shaped center, of the brace 4 or the vicinities of gravity locks below standing pipes 2a; a fixing means is provided along an edge at a lower edge near a lower edge of the sheet; a holding means for holding a rod-like object in the state of wrapping it is provided at an upper edge near an upper edge of the sheet; the lower edge is fixed to the longitudinal plate 3 via the fixing means below a stepping surface; the upper edge provided with the holding means is fixed to the crossrail member; and the baseboard sheet is stretched between the longitudinal plate 3 and the crossrail member.
