PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chip compressor which is compact, and whose maintenance management is easily performed. SOLUTION: In the chip compressor 2, a hopper 10 has a hopper feed port 20 whose upper part is charged with chips and whose bottom part is provided with a hopper discharge port from which the chip is discharged. The tip of a pushing plate 12 is composed so as to be movable between the hopper feed port 20 and the hopper discharge port. The compression part 8 is provided with: a first compression chamber; and a second compression chamber. In the first compression chamber, the longitudinal direction thereof crosses a direction where the hopper discharge port penetrates. The front edge in the longitudinal direction of the first compression chamber is connected to the second compression chamber. The longitudinal direction of the first compression chamber and the longitudinal direction of the second compression chamber cross each other. In the second compression chamber, the front edge in the longitudinal direction thereof is provided with a compression discharge port.
