PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating cooker capable of preventing degradation of product image, even if advertisement is carried out on a display section. SOLUTION: A color liquid crystal display section 36 has a normal mode for displaying an image for heating a heated object, and a demonstration mode for displaying an demonstration image for advertisement, according to the operations set in advance to a group of buttons 45. A control device 5 controls the luminance of the color liquid crystal display section 36 of the demonstration mode to be higher than that of the color liquid crystal display section 36 in the normal mode, and inhibits power supply to a steam heating heater 4, a circulation fan 19, an exhaust damper 25, an exhaust dilution fan 30, an air supply damper 33, a water heating heater 41, a solenoid valve 49 and a magnetron 52, when the color liquid crystal display section 36 is in the demonstration mode.
