PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging unit capable of achieving both flexibility for protecting a machine against vibration or shock in a packing state of the machine and rigidity for holding the machine when using a packaging material as a working table of the machine. SOLUTION: The packaging unit includes a first packaging material 1 made of a PP sheet and having a relief area X and a second packaging material 2 having a flat planar area 2a and set-in areas 2b assembled by bending corrugated fiberboard. After an individual packing box storing a monitor camera 100 wrapped with the first packaging material 1 and the second packaging material 2 is unpacked, the set-in area of the second packaging material 2 is fitted inside an outer periphery 1a of the first packaging material 1 when incorporating the second packaging material 2 from a surface opposite to a surface of the first packaging material 1 for holding the monitor camera 100, whereby strength of the outer periphery 1a of the first packaging material 1 is reinforced.
