A novel monitoring electrode (10) for monitoring dorsal cochlear nucleus action potentials is provided, which has a superior performance in accuracy, adherent property, comprehensiveness, recording sensitivity, and recording specificity. The monitoring electrode (10) is easily inserted through a foramen of Luschka (9A), stably held on a region of the dorsal cochlear nucleus, and clearly records the dorsal cochlear nucleus action potentials. Additionally, a novel monitoring device (16) for monitoring the dorsal cochlear nucleus action potentials using the monitoring electrode (10) thereof is provided. |
