A wall-hung air conditioner configured in such a manner that a fan can be removed and attached irrespective of the shape of a heat exchanger and without moving the heat exchanger. A wall-hung air conditioner (1) is provided with a body (100) which contains a fan (140), and also with a drain pan assembly (110). The drain pan assembly (110) is provided with a blowing opening peripheral edge (114) which forms a blowing opening (113) for blowing air delivered by the fan (140), and also with a dew receiver (117), and the drain pan assembly (110) is removably mounted to the body (100). An opening (120) through which the fan (140) is removed from the body (100) is formed in the body (100). The drain pan assembly (110) is mounted to the body (100) in such a manner that the blowing opening (113) faces the opening (120) of the body (100). The blowing opening peripheral edge (114) includes an upper wall (118) which is disposed above the blowing opening (113), and also includes a blowing opening rear protrusion (112) which is disposed below the blowing opening (113).
