PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a blade body from breaking due to cutting strings, packing bands, etc. by a blade section of the blade body which does not project from the tip end part of a holder. SOLUTION: A cutter knife with a blade breaking protecting function is provided with an exposing section which exposes a part of the blade body near the tip end part of a blade body projecting/retracting cutter knife holder to the outside of the holder and a slider stopper which prevents a slider making the blade body movable on a slider groove from coming off from the exposing section.
