PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of setting pressure losses of a model, or the like capable of matching to target pressure loss characteristics in a structure for adjusting pressure losses in a model including resistance adjustment members at upstream and downstream sides relating to the flow of fluid, such as wind, and including a gap section between both of the resistance adjustment members. SOLUTION: A a pressure loss Pt and a thickness tt required for the structure 10B for adjusting pressure losses in a model are obtained, by performing a first step of adjusting pressure characteristics ΔP1a, ΔP2 and thicknesses t1, t2 of the resistance adjustment members 11, 12 on the upstream and downstream sides of the flow of fluid F; and a thickness Bs of a gap section 3, and a second step of forming the resistance adjustment member 11 for readjustment by providing a sub-gap section 4 between the two new sub-resistance adjustment members 11a, 11b, when a pressure loss Pm obtained in the adjustment of the first step deviates from a target pressure loss Pt, and adjusting the pressure characteristics ΔP11, ΔP12 and thicknesses t11, t12 of both the sub-resistance adjustment members 11a, 11b, and a thickness Bs1 of the sub-gap section 4.
