PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speaker edge capable of suppressing resonance while having a simple structure and being manufactured easily. SOLUTION: A roll edge 17 has a recessed part 17A having an arc cross section and a holding part 17B having a planar cross section. The holding part 17B is supported while being sandwiched with an annular packing 20 disposed on the upper part of a yoke 11B and a frame 19 facing the outer periphery of the holding section. A foam member 18 is attached in the roll edge 17 so as to fill the recessed part 17A entirely. The foam member 18 may be provided by attaching a molding of a semi-annular body or filling a foaming material. An elastic body, such as a urethane foam and rubber, having a density lower than that of the roll edge 17 is used as the foam member 18 in order to resist against a deformation of the recessed part 17A and reduce weight so as to improve reproducing characteristics. By providing the foam member 18, resonance of the roll edge 17 is suppressed, so that the reproducing characteristics of a speaker unit can be improved. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
