Provided are a power transmitting apparatus and a bicycle having the power transmission. The power transmitting apparatus for a bicycle includes a driving chain gear, a crankshaft that is coupled to the driving chain gear and has opposite ends that are respectively located at both sides of the driving chain gear, and hub bodies that are respectively located at the both sides of the driving chain gear. The hub bodies are provided with shaft coupling holes in which the opposite ends of the crank shaft are respectively inserted. Crank arms are respectively coupled to the hub bodies at locations spaced apart from the shaft coupling holes and have respective ends to which pedals are respectively coupled. |
