The seat (1) has an airbag arrangement (4) arranged at a frame inner side (3) of a frame structure (2) and including an outer envelope (5), where the frame structure is a component of a backrest. An airbag (7) is accommodated in an envelope interior (6) of the outer envelope, and the airbag arrangement is formed as an individually mountable component. The airbag arrangement is partially arranged in an area of side walls (8). A cover (10) is formed by an oblong gap (11) defining an edge of the cover in the outer envelope. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a vehicle seat. |
