<p>Disclosed is a bus bar which connects together the electrodes of two batteries which are employed in a power source device provided with a plurality of batteries. In a conventional power source device, connection is made between a battery and an electric wire connected to a circuit body by connecting to the electrodes of a battery with a voltage detection terminal overlaid on the bus bar. In this case the bus bar and the voltage detection terminal are separate components, thus increasing the number of components and the number of assembly steps and leading to problems such as poor assembly operation efficiency. A bus bar (1) is provided with a battery connection section (2) and an electric wire connection section (3) serving as a circuit body connection section. The electric wire connection section is linked with the battery connection section (2) and is provided with a welded section (31) to which the conductor (61) of an electric wire (6) is welded, and a linking section (32) which links the welded section (31) and the battery connection section (2). The cross-sectional area along the direction (C) orthogonal to the direction linking the welded section (31) of the connecting section (32) and the battery connection section (2) is formed to be smaller than the cross-sectional area along the aforesaid direction (C) orthogonal to the welded section (31), thereby resolving the problem described above.</p> |
