Disclosed is an input device with the objective, in particular, of making voltage values for each input region more uniform than conventionally, and thereby improving ease of input. A lower substrate (26) and an upper substrate (27) are arranged opposite each other, wherein the substrates (26 and 27) have substrates (29 and 31), resistance layers (30 and 32) provided on an inner surface of each substrate (29 and 31), and an electrode layer formed on the surface of each resistance layer (30 and 32). Between a pair of lower electrode layers (40 and 41) configuring the lower substrate (26) are provided a plurality of switch input units (22 and 23), wherein the input units (22 and 23) are partitioned by way of conducting layers (45 and 46) formed on the surface of a resistance layer (30a). In addition, voltage is applied between the lower electrode layers (40 and 41), and on the basis of each of the voltage values of the switch input units (22 and 23), each switch input unit (22 or 23) for which an input operation has been performed is detected.
