PURPOSE: A mobile terminal and control method are provided to comprise a touch recognition area of a designated UI object as a touch recognition area of a touch screen if a user designates a UI object which is frequently used. CONSTITUTION: A mobile terminal and control method are comprised as follows. A touch screen displays at least one UI object(S111). A control unit changes specific UI objects into a divided area. The control unit changes a touch recognizing unit if each boundary point of the UI objects is designated(S114). The control unit changes a touch recognizing area if each UI object is maintained for a fixed time. The control unit informs a change of a touch recognition area through an identifier displayed on the touch screen if the touch recognizing area is changed in the each area. The control unit restores the touch recognizing area into a touch recognizing area before a touch if the identifier is selected. The control unit displays the touch recognizing area on a touch screen to be identified. |
