<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pants-type disposable diaper having an excellent sense of wearing for a male wearer and capable of securely absorbing urine in an absorbent core even if a large quantity of urine is excreted at a time. <P>SOLUTION: The pants-type disposable diaper includes a diaper body 2 composed of a front abdominal part P, a rear back part Q and a crotch part R located between the parts P and Q, and the absorbent core 10 disposed in the crotch part R. A waist opening 3 and a pair of leg openings 4 are formed in the diaper body 2 by joining the front abdominal part P and the rear back part Q. A first elastic member 13 is continuously disposed along the edge 15 of either leg opening on the front side across the crotch part R, and a second elastic member 14, separate from the first elastic member 13, is disposed along the edge 15 of either leg opening on the rear side across the crotch part R.
