<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor integrated circuit capable of accurately carrying out the AD conversion of an externally supplied analog signal in the low power consumption mode of a central processing unit. <P>SOLUTION: A semiconductor integrated circuit has an edge detecting means 11 that carries out edge detection of an interrupt signal to generate an edge detection signal and an AD conversion means 12 that holds an externally supplied analog signal by the edge detection signal, and carries out the AD conversion of the held analog signal under control by a central processing unit 13 to supply the converted analog signal to the central processing unit. After the central processing unit switches to the normal mode using a high-speed clock from the low power consumption mode owing to the interrupt signal or the edge detection signal, digital data obtained by carrying out AD conversion to the analog signal held in the AD conversion means 12 is taken to the central processing unit 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
