摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultraviolet irradiation device capable of continuously and effectively cooling an ultraviolet irradiation unit including an LED chip by a simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: A housing 120 includes at least a cooling water introduction unit 128 and a cooling water delivery unit 126. A plurality of the LED chips 40 respectively include a light emitting element 42, an anode electrode 46, and a cathode electrode 44, at least. A cooling block 50 is constituted by a conductive member, and is formed so as to abut to a portion other than the anode electrode 46 in the LED chip 40 including the cathode electrode 44. The cooling block 50 is formed so that at least part thereof is grounded.
