<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery pack with improved heat dissipation efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: The battery pack includes a holder case 100, and a plurality of batteries 150 disposed inside the holder case 100. The holder case 100 includes a plurality of ribs 120 disposed inside the holder case 100. Each of the ribs 120 has a column 125 extending in a direction substantially parallel to a side surface of the holder case 100, and each of the batteries 150 is accommodated between the columns of the ribs. The column 125 has a heat dissipation hole 125' therein extending along the extension direction of the column 125. The battery pack is thus provided with heat dissipation holes which collect heat generated during charge and discharge operations and dissipate the heat through air flows, effectively preventing degradation in performance due to overheating of the batteries or a temperature rise. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
