<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a melt tension improver which is capable of improving the molding processability, particularly, blow moldability or foaming moldability of a thermoplastic elastomer; and to provide a thermoplastic elastomer composition comprising it. <P>SOLUTION: The melt tension improver for a thermoplastic elastomer comprises a polyethylene-based resin in which the density is 920 kg/m<SP>3</SP>or more and 970 kg/m<SP>3</SP>or less; the melt flow rate is 1 g/10 min or more and 20 g/10 min or less; the number of terminal vinyl groups is 0.2 or less per 1,000 carbon atoms; the relationship between the melt tension and MFR measured at 160°C satisfies MS<SB>160</SB>>90-130×log(MFR); the relationship between the melt tension and MS<SB>160</SB>measured at 190°C satisfies MS<SB>160</SB>/MS<SB>190</SB><1.8; and the relationship between the activation energy of flow and density satisfies 125-0.105d<E<SB>a</SB><88-0.055d. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
