<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change motion control of a character in real time, the motion control being performed in response to operation by a player, by selecting another character without stagnation of game progress. <P>SOLUTION: A CPU10 makes a first game screen including a player character whose motion is controlled in response to operation by a player and a second game screen including capture target characters for whom character parameters used for motion control of player characters are defined be displayed on a display 17 and a display 18, respectively. The CPU10, in response to operation by the player, selects one of the capture target characters included in the second game screen and sets the character parameters defined for this selected capture target character to the player character.
