<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat storage heater sending hot air by using a thermal storage medium as a heat source, releasing heat from an exterior panel of a housing, and capable of preventing waste heat release without deteriorating heating performance in winter and reducing thermal efficiency in off season. <P>SOLUTION: The heat storage heater A including the thermal storage medium stored inside the housing 1 and a heater for heating the thermal storage medium has a curtain member 6 as a shielding means for covering the heat release face of the exterior panel of the housing 1.
