PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of an elevator which is properly adaptable to a pseudo confined state and which can reduce notifications to a maintenance company or the like when the pseudo confined state occurs. SOLUTION: This control device of an elevator includes a pseudo confinement detection means 2b for detecting the occurrence of a pseudo confinement when detecting that any defect is not detected for the elevator and passengers board in the car 1 of the elevator after the door of the car 1 is closed and the car is stopped and a notification means (2c, 2d, 3, 4) for notifying the users in the car 1 of the information for prompting the users for getting down the car 1 or a call registration operation to the other story when the pseudo confinement detection means 2b detects the occurrence of a pseudo confinement.
