PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a body for automobile, which uses an FRP pipe which is inexpensive, lightweight, highly rigid, and highly strong in an automobile having a space frame structure, and to provide a structure in which the entire frame is conducted while the strength is not degraded even during the heat inflation caused by the temperature change. SOLUTION: A space frame structure constituted of an FRP pipe 2 is constructed inside a body 1. The amount of fibers in the longitudinal direction is larger than that of fibers in the circumferential direction in the FRP pipe directed in the automobile advancing direction. The FRP pipe installed in the direction orthogonal to the automobile advancing direction and horizontal to the traveling surface is formed of fibers directed at 45°with respect to the longitudinal direction. Conductive lines are passed through each FRP pipes, and are electrically contacted with metallic fastening members 3 for fastening each FRP pipe. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
