PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To radiate X-rays from appropriate directions. SOLUTION: The X-ray CT scanner 100 acquires electrocardiographic signals of a subject P. The X-ray CT scanner 100 acquires the position information of an X-ray tube 12 on a circular path centered on the subject P. Subsequently the X-ray CT scanner 100 decides whether or not the position of the X-ray tube 12 shown by the position information indicates the position where photographing can be started and whether or not the electrocardiographic signals indicate the phase where photographing can be started. When deciding that the position of the X-ray tube 12 indicates the position where photographing can be started and that the electrocardiographic signals indicates the phase where photographing can be started, the X-ray CT scanner 100 performs control to make the X-ray tube 12 start exposure to X-rays. After that, the X-ray CT scanner 100 performs control so as to perform exposure to X-rays in a prescribed section on the circular path. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
