A stairway gauge device includes a side height adjusting gauge (10) and a dimension adjusting gauge (20), and the side height adjusting gauge (10) is provided with a side height plate (11), a supporting slider (12) and one or more measuring sliders (13). The side height plate (11) is an elongated plate and is provided with a main slot (112), one or more auxiliary slots (113), a slide rail (114), and a pivot hole (115). One or more auxiliary slots (113) are parallel with the main slot. The supporting slider (12) is disposed on the main slot (112) slideably. One or more measuring sliders (13) are disposed cooperatively in one or more auxiliary slots (113) slideably. The dimension adjusting gauge (20) includes an L-shaped guide plate (21) and a pair of L-shaped sliders (22). The L-shaped guide plate (21) is pivoted to the side height plate (11) and has a first arm (211) and a second arm (212). The pair of sliders (22) is slideably provided on the L-shaped guide plate and can slide along the first arm (211) and the second arm (212) respectively. The pair of L-shaped sliders (22) is combined with the L-shaped guide plate (21) so as to form about M shape.
