<p>The invention relates to a method and system for permanently sealing a branch waste water pipeline (38) at the junction between a branch waste water pipeline and a main waste water pipeline (36) by providing a flexible bag (22) of a substantially fluid-tight material having a hose (26) for supplying fluids into the flexible bag. The flexible bag defines a deflated state defining a diameter smaller than the diameter of the branch pipeline, and a filled state defining a diameter at least equal to the diameter of the branch pipeline. The method and system furthermore comprise a remote controlled pipeline device (12) accommodating the flexible bag in the deflated state. The remote controlled pipeline device is introduced into the main waste water pipeline, allowing the pipeline device to assume a position adjacent to the branch waste water pipeline. The deflated flexible bag is introduced into the branch waste water pipeline by using the pipeline device and is filled with a water-based curable substance via a hose, permitting the curable substance to harden.</p> |
