The appliance e.g. household dishwasher (1), has fluid supply lines (8, 9) e.g. cold water supply lines, for supplying the appliance with water from a fresh water network. A back-flow prevention apparatus i.e. non-return valve, includes a membrane ring secured in an inlet valve arrangement of each supply line. The ring is reshaped elastically by water pressure of water flow in a direction of the appliance in an open position, and comprises a sealing lip that is pushed into the supply line by the water pressure of the water flow in the direction of the water network in a closing position. |
