The invention provides for an apparatus, and related method, for performing spectral analysis of a sample and wherein the apparatus comprises a sample container means for locating the sample in association with a first integrating sphere, and a second integrating sphere, and wherein the first and second integrating spheres and the sample container means are arranged such that the first integrating sphere performs diffuse reflectance analysis of the sample, and the second integrating sphere performs diffuse transmission analysis of the sample. The invention can further perform direct reflectance analysis with diffuse transmission analysis as well as diffuse reflectance analysis with direct transmission analysis. |
