A RAMP FOR A HARD DISC DRIVE

PURPOSE: A lamp for hard disc drive is provided to supply an assembly comprised of integrated unit and increase reliability of hard disc drive. CONSTITUTION: A bracket(20) having a lamp pivot bearing and a pivot stop is provided. The lamp pivot bearing attaches a lamp platform to be attachable to the bracket arranges the lamp pivot bearing in an actuator arm pivot unit. The pivot stop is a pivot stop for a lamp locator arm for stopping the lamp in an open and close location. An extended lamp parking position is provided by expending a parking surface to angle direction from a lamp pivot unit circumference to the radius. The extended lamp parking location is corresponded to an opened lamp location by permitting a forward loading.
