PURPOSE: A mobile terminal and a method for controlling a power source of the mobile terminal are provided to supply power to an e-paper by another power source when the amount of using power is larger than a predicted amount of charging power of an e-paper, thereby normally operating an e-paper under a low power state. CONSTITUTION: A power supply unit(190) comprises the first power source supplying power to a terminal and the second power source supplying power to an e-paper. A display unit(151) comprises the e-paper. A controller(180) compares a predicted amount of charging power of the second power source with a predicted amount of power consumption of the e-paper when the second power source is charged. The controller controls an operation for supplying power to the e-paper according to the comparison result.
