<p>1326928 Therapeutic material INSTITUT PASTEUR 23 Dec 1970 [31 Dec 1969] 61240/ 70 Heading A5B A therapeutic material, capable of inhibiting the development of leukaemia and other cancers, is prepared by subjecting a cell suspension to a first precipitation with polyethyleneglycol; separating the precipitate from the liquid; subjecting the liquid to a second precipitation with silico-tungstic acid, e.g. silicoduodecitungstic acid; and separating the therapeutic material containing liquid from the precipitate. The cell suspension may comprise (i) cells of normal lymphoid tissues, (2) cultures in vitro of cells which are derived from (1), or (3) cell cultures infected with a virus of the leukaemic type. Both precipitations may be carried out at a temperature from -10 to +10‹C. From 2 to 10% by weight of polyethylene glycol may be added in the first precipitation.</p> |
