<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image generating system, a program, and an information storage medium, capable of real-time generation of an image to be cut with an arbitrary cutting plane for an object without the application of a processing load. SOLUTION: A hexagonal prism object OBJ1 is defined by respective vertexes UP1 to UP6, DP1 to DP6, of a top surface US and a bottom surface DS which face each other, of the hexagon. Positions at which the cutting plane SS cuts the side surface of the hexagonal prism object OBJ1 are determined as intersection points P of lines connecting the respective vertexes of the top surface with the corresponding vertexes of the bottom surface, and the cutting plane SS. The hexagonal prism object OBJ1 and a hexagonal prism object OBJ2 (in a broad sense, a second prism object) are provided by duplicating the hexagonal prism object OBJ1 before being cut (in a broad sense, a first prism object), and the vertex coordinates which define the top surface of the hexagonal prism object OBJ1 are set so as to be the intersection points P1 to P6, and the vertex coordinates defining the bottom surface of the hexagonal prism object OBJ2 are set so as to be the intersection points P1 to P6.</p> |
