<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coding device capable of relieving sound interruption and sound quality deterioration in changing-over a coding bit rate. <P>SOLUTION: When the coding bit rate is changed over, a delay buffer control unit 15 obtains the first writing pointer after changeover and the changed packet length of a written packet, and then, performs notification to the delay buffer 14. The delay buffer 14 delays the packet generated in a packetizer 13 for the portion of a prescribed delay time, and then, changes information on the packet length of the written packet so as to perform correction into the completed packet, when the coding bit rate is changed-over. The delay buffer 14 abandons a frame when the frame overflowing by the change of the delay time exists, inserts invalid data between the final packet before changeover and the first packet after changeover, and starts writing after changeover from the notified first writing pointer after changeover. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
