<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely detect an area suitable for marking in a shear cut surface of a hot working material. <P>SOLUTION: The detector comprises: a lighting system 4 irradiating the shear cut surface 5a of the hot working material 5 with a blue wavelength light different from the light wavelength of the self-emitted light by the hot working material 5; a color CCD camera 1 obtaining an image of the shear cut surface 5a; and a computer 2 separating a first image of the wavelength band of the self-emitted light and a second image of the wavelength band of the irradiating light from the image obtained by the CCD camera 1 to specify a shear cut surface area suitable for marking by a differential image between the first image and the second image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
