A heterocyclic compound or a salt thereof represented by the formula (I): where R 2 represents a hydrogen atom or a lower alkyl group; A represents a lower alkylene group or a lower alkenylene group; and R 1 represents a cylo C3-C8 alkyl group. The compound of the present invention has a wide treatment spectrum for mental disorders including central nervous system disorders, no side effects and high safety.
