<p>The present disclosure provides an adhesive made from a reaction product of (a) polymerizable acrylate derived from one or more alcohols selected from the group consisting of C4 alcohols, C5 alcohols, and combinations thereof wherein at least one of the alcohols is derived from a non-petroleum resource; (b) initiator; (c) stabilizer, wherein the reaction occurs in water to yield a microsphere adhesive. The microsphere adhesive can be formulated into a pressure sensitive adhesive composition that can be applied to various substrates such as paper and polymeric film to produce repositionable adhesive coated articles such as tapes, notes, flags, easels and the like.</p> |
