PURPOSE: A natural antiseptic composition is provided to remove the smell of propolis which is difficult to use in cosmetic products and to apply in cosmetics or detergents. CONSTITUTION: A natural antiseptic composition contains 0.3-2% of propolis, 0.045-0.3% of lavender essential oil, and 0.045-0.3% of lemon essential oil. The composition also contains 5% of ethanol as a solvent, 0.5% of polysorbate 20 as a solubilizer, 0.5% of polysorbate 80, and PEG(60) hydrogen-added castor oil. The composition further contains sodium coco PG-dimonium chloride phosphate or 1,3-butylene glycol as a moisturizer, and linoleamido propyl PG-dimonium chloride phosphate as a softener. |
