PURPOSE: A multipoint rotary friction damper using section steel is provided to adjust the frictional force of a friction pad by controlling the fastening torque of bolts. CONSTITUTION: A multipoint rotary friction damper using section steel comprises a first section steel member(110), a second section steel member(210), a first friction pad(310), an interval plate(510), a press plate(610), a bolt(710), and a first circular arc cut member(311). The first section steel member is made of H-section steel or I-section steel. The second section steel member is made of H-section steel or I-section steel and is connected to the first section steel member. The first friction pad is coupled with both sides of a web of the first section steel member. The interval plate is combined on both sides of the web of the second section steel member. The pressure plate covers each outer surface of the first friction pad and the interval plate. The bolt passes through the press plate and is coupled with the nut.
