PURPOSE: A method for controlling audio volume is provided to enable a user to control audio volume easily by providing a volume curve controlling wizard function. CONSTITUTION: An audio wizard menu is displayed on a screen(S401). A volume curve is changed by the volume level of a program(S402). If a user changes the volume curve, the changed value is stored(S403). If the audio wizard mode is not established, volume control is performed using a volume curve in a general mode(S406). If the audio wizard mode is established, the stored volume curve value is read(S407). Based on the changed volume curve value, the volume level is changed(S408).
