<p>The paver has a drivable running gear, and a smoothing device arranged behind the running gear in a paving direction (12). Compression units for a road-building material i.e. concrete (33), are arranged in front of the smoothing device. The compression units are designed as vibrating bodies (23) that are inserted partially into the road-building material. The vibrating bodies are arranged between the running gear and the smoothing device in a suspended manner. The vibrating bodies are arranged in a row extending transverse to the paving direction. An independent claim is also included for a method for producing a concrete road surface.</p> |
