<p>The method involves arranging a workpiece (1) in a box (2), and determining temperature distribution of a section of the box. An area is selected based on the determined temperature distribution, where the area exhibits a temperature value within a predetermined temperature range or below or above a temperature limiting value based on the determined temperature distribution. The workpiece is removed from the box. Property of a surface area of the workpiece is changed into a predetermined depth in a processing unit. An independent claim is also included for a device for processing a workpiece.</p> |
