PURPOSE: A pergola is provided to implement an environmentally-friendly shelter and help the growth of plant using collected solar energy and rainwater. CONSTITUTION: A pergola comprises a plurality of posts(110), a connection unit(120), a solar panel(130), and a sump tank(140). The posts are arranged separate from each other. The connection unit is placed on the top of the posts in order to connect the post. The solar panel is installed in the connection unit in order to collect sunlight. The sump tank is installed on the bottom of the posts in order to collect water through a water collecting pipe. The water collected in the sump tank is supplied to the plant growing on the posts.
