ON-BOARD REALTIME SURVIVAL TIME ESTIMATION SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SHIPS

PURPOSE: An on-board real time survival time estimating system in a ship and a method therefor are provided to enable crews to easily estimate survival time to quickly and accurately escape from a ship, thereby minimizing damages in human life and properties. CONSTITUTION: A ship damage input module receives a damage situation of a ship when a ship collides or is sunk. A survival time DB builds individual ship survival time corresponding to each damage scenario in a database. A survival time DB management module searches ship survival time data and a damage scenario matched with a real damage situation from the survival time DB and transmits the data to a real time survival time output module. The survival time output module displays the searched survival time data by the survival time DB management module.
