PURPOSE: A method for preparing white Pleuropterus multiflorus extracts and Phlomis umbrosa extracts for promoting bone growth and insulin-like growth factor secretion is provided to develop beverage and medicinal products. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing white Pleuropterus multiflorus extracts for promoting bone growth comprises: a step of processing dried white Pleuropterus multiflorus in powder or piece; a step of adding water of 80-100 °C and extracting for 12-24 hours; a step of cooling the white Pleuropterus multiflorus extracts; and a step of removing insoluble fine particles by centrifuging.
