PURPOSE: An electronic device with a touch sensitive display and an easy input method in the same are provided to reduce possibility that a touch sensitive display is wrongly touched using a virtual keyboard, thereby increasing battery lifetime by reducing power consumption. CONSTITUTION: A touch sensitive display is touched to get a character. A character is added to a character string. An object partially matched with the character string is distinguished from stored data. A next character of at least one object is distinguished among distinguished objects to form a next character set.
