PURPOSE: A coupling solution is provided to tune a filter by coupling the cavity resonator of a bandpass cavity filter with a dielectric resonator. CONSTITUTION: A metal plate is inserted into between a cavity resonator and a dielectric resonator in a metal cavity to form a coupling structure. In other way, a metal wire is inserted into between a cavity resonator and a dielectric resonator in a metal cavity to form a coupling structure. |
