PURPOSE: A wireless communication method between a user device and a base station and an apparatus performing the method, capable of supporting uplink and downlink multi carriers is provided to smoothly perform an operation related to a physical cell identifier. CONSTITUTION: A receiver includes a downlink component carrier for performing initial access of a user device. The receiver receives one of a plurality of downlink component carriers. A process unit(101) performs initial access by using the downlink component carrier. A transceiver transmits the uplink component carrier by using a physical cell identifier applied to an uplink component carrier.
