A detector identifies the state of the atomized lubricant (h) jetted from a tip of a cutter (17) by detecting transmission/reflection intensity of light (c) transmitted along a point (b) in an inner hole (21a) through a transparent membrane of a guide (21). A feeder (23) feeds clean fluid through the inner hole for covering transparent membrane of the guide. An independent claim is included for lubricant jetting state detector.
