METHOD FOR RESTORATING GEOMETRIC RADIOGRAPHY OF BOILER TUBE WELDS

PURPOSE: A method for restoring the geometric radiography of boiler tube welds is provided to accurately detect the defects such as minute distortion or noise within a geometric radiography of boiler tube welds. CONSTITUTION: A method for restoring the geometric radiography of boiler tube welds comprises the steps of: collecting a geometric radiography of boiler tube welds; restoring an image for an inner region of a divided boiler tube through geometric structure analysis to which a function fitting method is applied; selecting pixel lines of a right angle one by one, wherein the pixel lines exist in the geometric radiography; allowing the selected pixel line to be matched with one of polynomial, Gaussian, prototype and elliptic functions; and accurately restoring an image by quantitatively judging the image distortion of geometric radiography.
